Wow, if you’ve ended up here you must be dangerously close to the edge of the end of the internet. Turn back now before you fall toward the abyss and in to my ranting!
Well, if you’ve decided to stay, welcome! I’ll warn you that this is probably a sporadic, self absorbed, profanity laced account of everything going on around me. Really, that might be a decent start of a description of me. The rest is that I’m an engineer, a food and music lover and as you may find, a terrible writer. I also work too much, drink too much and have way too many hobbies. I love bikes, beer, good food, seeing new things and meeting new people.
So… about the blog.
I just recently moved from my house in Lexington, Kentucky to Santiago, Chile. Do I know Spanish? Eh… Do I know anyone there? No… Do I have any idea what I’m getting myself into? Ha! doubt it. I’ll be working most of the time that I’m there but because of the work schedule, I’ll have lots of time to travel and see South America.
This blog is my collection of notes (barely comprehensible rants are more likely) about my travel. I originally started it to help me stay in touch with the people at home but hopefully it will also help me to stay in touch with the people I meet and the to remember all the things I see and do. Hell, who knows, some of you might even enjoy it.
Leave me a comment, check back in from time to time. I’ll have plenty going on.
